The Office Systems Technology program provides training in preparing business documents, managing records, handling communications, scheduling, handling financial transactions, operating a variety of business equipment, and supervising other personnel. A wide range of computer equipment and software may be used in performing these tasks.
The Office Systems Technology program at Greenup County ATC provides students with an opportunity to participate in
FBLA
- Future Business Leaders of America, a student organization that is recognized as an integral part of the technical education curriculum. Career and technical student organizations provide a unique program of career and leadership development, motivation and recognition exclusively for secondary and post secondary students enrolled in technical education. Greenup County ATC is fortunate to have an active FBLA student organization. The purpose of FBLA is to provide, as an integral part of the instructional program, additional opportunities for secondary students (grades 9-12) in business and/or business related fields to develop vocational and career supportive competencies and to promote civic and personal responsibilities.
