Hello! Thank you for visiting my webpage. My name is Kayla Coleman and I am the 6th grade Math B teacher at McKell Middle School. I am looking forward to a great year with your children! Teaching has always been a passion of mine and I am excited to share my love of learning with your children. I graduated from Morehead State University with a degree in Middle School Education (5-9): Math and Science. I have lived in Greenup County my whole life and am happy to be teaching in this area. I am blessed to have a loving husband whom I have been married to since June 2015. We also have two golden retrievers (Copper and Daisy).
In this class we will be covering Decimal Operations, Fractions, Ratios, Percents, Graphs, Integers and Rational Numbers. You will find link on the right side of this page that includes extra resources for students to use in these areas.
My planning period is 5th period (between 12-1).
