Employees Receive Gold Standard Awards

Several Greenup County School District employees received special recognition during opening day activities to kick off the new school year. The group was recognized for provided outstanding customer service and setting the “gold standard” in their respective fields during the 2015-2016 school year.

“All GCSD employees are working together to support our vision: the gold standard in education; the foundation of our community” said Superintendent Sherry Horsley. “These individuals exemplify the gold standard in providing a high quality education and creating a culture of excellence.We are proud to recognize their service to the students and families in our district.”

AEG Grants
The Foundation for the Tri-State Community and the Area Education Grants Advisory Board are pleased to invite Boyd and Greenup County teachers to apply for AEG funds for the '16-'17 school year. 

DonorsChoose.org between August 1 and September 30 to be considered for funding.  AEG will award up to $500 per project, and funds will be awarded to the most creative and effective projects on a first come, first serve basis.   For more information, download this document.
