Another unforgettable year at the HOSA State Leadership Conference is in the books—and we’re coming home with some hardware!
HUGE congratulations to Ty Logan, Tyson Law, Addison Hogsten, Carlee Hunt, Lucy Roy and Kambria Hammond for earning 3rd place out of 60 teams in the Anatomage Tournament! We’re so thankful for the opportunity our students have to take the Anatomy & Physiology dual credit class at GC—and a big shoutout to their teacher, Matt Moresea, for also serving as a chaperone on this trip!
Congrats to Aubree Hunt for placing 4th in Healthy Living—what an accomplishment!
We also had several students advance to the second round of competition. With over 2,700 students competing, this was the largest conference to date, and GC showed up strong!
Beyond the competitions, our students made incredible memories—enjoying symposiums, a blood drive, workshops, exhibits (including a LIVE kidney), silent disco, bingo, escape rooms, alumni reception, and yes… eating like kings and queens all weekend long!
We are so grateful our students had this experience. A huge THANK YOU to our school district, parents, community, and sponsors for making it all possible.
Our students worked incredibly hard, represented GC with excellence, and made us so proud. ❤️
Until next year!
