WES would like to invite our students' Golden Guests to join us for a special celebration honoring them on Friday, September 13th. The time schedule is as follows: Grades 4-5 @ 12:00-12:45; Grades 2-3 @ 12:50- 1:35; Grades K-1 @ 1:40-2:25. We're also celebrating Dot Day on 9/13-students may wear dot inspired clothes!

Wurtland Elementary would like to thank Petland for taking the time to come teach our students how to properly care for their pets. Students fell in love with all of our special guests today.
As KSA testing and make-up testing are finishing up today, we would like to share a little of the planned festivities to pump our students up to do their best on the test. Students in all grades gathered for our pep rally that included fun competitions between fellow students and teachers. It is safe to say that fun was had by all!

Wurtland Elementary would like to remind you of our upcoming Kentucky Summative Assessment dates- May 3 & May 6-10. We urge you to schedule all appointments around these dates. We need our students at school on time to school and ready to show what they know! Thank you so much for your assistance.
Wurtland Elementary teachers and staff will be working at Greenup McDonald's on Tuesday, May 7th from 4:30p - 7:00p for McTeacher Night. Make sure your mark your caldendars to come see us and spread the word! McDonald's is donating 25% to Wurtland Elementary!
