Mr. Browns Forensic Science class learned first hand out sniffing out the bad guys. We want to say thank you to our very own SRO Officer Robinson who helped get into contact with our vistors. We also want to say thank you to Officer Chadwick Spence for bring his K9 unit in to share how much a dog can help in the police field.

On Halloween, students in Mr. Pack’s classroom took part in a hilarious progressive story activity. Every story began with:

“It was a dark and stormy night. And then the aliens came.”
(Some classes used: “It was a dark and stormy night. And then the monster awoke!”)

Students then wrote their own third sentence, passed their paper back, and had 17 seconds to continue the story. The catch? They could only read the sentence written immediately before theirs—nothing else!

As you can imagine, the stories took some wild twists and turns. When students read them aloud, the results were unpredictable, creative, and absolutely hilarious. 🤣

Love seeing our Bulldogs having fun while flexing their creative muscles!

Our Agriculture students planted green beans and cared for them through the August drought/heat and fall weather. Chances of success were not high but we finally harvested 7 cups worth this week! Students got to string/snap/cook the green beans, compared them to store bought beans from a can, and even used math/proportions to adjust the recipe! We even had some students that don’t like green beans who were willing to try. Out of the 20 students who tried them, 17 preferred our farm fresh beans!
