It’s that time of year to submit your 8th grade baby picture. We will use this photo for the 8th grade Promotion on May 23.
Please submit the baby pic to Mr. Ward via email.
His email is Robert.ward@greenup.kyschools.us
Please put the first and last name of the 8th grade student in the subject line in the email.
The last date to submit is May 17.
If you do not have a digital photo you may submit a copy to the office, or take a photo with your phone and submit it that way.
Please submit only 1 photo so all students can be represented.

Mrs. Fraley’s eighth grade science classes planted a sunflower bed to celebrate Earth Day. The flower heads will attract pollinators and the seeds can be fed to the McKell chickens. Each student tagged their planting and will check for germination in a couple of weeks.
We truly do not know what we would do without these two ladies. Thank you for everything you do each day at MMS.

Attention MMS Parents/Guardians, It is time to nominate parents to serve on the SBDM council for the 2024-2025 school year. The school council is made up of the principal, 3 teachers and 2 parents. To be considered for a nomination, you must have a student enrolled at MMS for the 2024-2025 school year. If you wish to nominate someone or yourself, you may call the school between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. or come by and let Jannette or Kathryn know. Each parent nominated will be notified to either accept or reject the nomination. The nomination period will be until April 24th. Voting will take place the following week, April 29-May 3 between the hours of 8:00 and 3:00 p.m. votes can be cast on the phone, in person or online via a Google form. Our family painting was a great success! Thank you to Mr. Blevins for being our artist and teacher to all who attended. We are planning this again for the Fall so get ready for another great family outing.
