Flu shot consent forms went home with the students today. If you would like your student to receive their flu shots Friday please complete the form and return to school tomorrow.

Tuesday is Day 2 of Spirit Week! The theme is color wars. Here are the colors each grade at MMS will be wearing!

Mrs. Muncy's music class the students learned and created their own busking projects. What's busking you ask?? Busking is the activity of playing music in a public place or the street with random instruments.








As part of the chemistry unit, Mrs. Cattell’s 6th grade scientists built models of molecules and compounds.

Our students were able to test out the new Glowforge today! They made an awesome first project! We have so many new opportunities this year for our kids!!


The Sources of Strength S.OS. Student team and Mrs. Zaph went to each class speaking with the students about their trusted adults. Each student filled a card out to share with school anonymously. It really has brightened the halls of Mckell Middle.

New year new classes!! Our Photography class with Mrs. Lynd-Abdon welcomed the delivery of new cameras and lenses for class! They are excited to put their skills to work.







In Mrs. Coleman & Mrs. Cattell’s brand new Agricultural class started the unit about chicken embryology. They began the unit by doing a lab dissecting an egg to learn the correct terminology for various parts of an egg.










Mrs. Cattell’s 6th grade scientists were busy this week creating models of atoms. Next week they are beginning a lab entitled “Making Molecules”.










Mr. Lowe’s new Typing / Journalism class has been typing away preparing the newest version of the Bulldog Newspaper.
