Mrs. Brumfield shares that Logan provided an interesting and thoughtful response on a shared Padlet board for this week's video journal about the "Free Hug" campaign. Great job, Logan!

COLLEAGUE CREDIT Ms. Katie Williams shares that our principals never stop! They've taken the "YES!" approach to heart this year. She shares that it is especially fun to see them serving hotdogs and nachos in the basketball concession stand this year, working each game while also managing all of the other logistics. They always roll their sleeves up and jump right in to tackle any challenge!


WILDCAT OF THE WEEK
Mrs. Long shares that Bonnie is a wonderful student and a great friend to others. She always comes into class with a smile and willingness to learn. Recently, Bonnie helped a friend that was in need. When mentioned, Bonnie shared she wanted to help.

LIBRARY CHRISTMAS CELEBRATIONS
Ms. Johnson was excited to treat the winners of the library's Christmas coloring contest. It looks like these young ladies received a bag full of spirited goodies.


CHRISTMAS R.A.C.K.
Students in all of the classes of Mrs. Miruka Williams completed Random Acts of Christmas Kindness (R.A.C.K.) throughout the month of December. We love all of the ways they chose to show kindness! Thank you, Officer Gollihue, for inspiring each of us!


HOUR OF CODE
Between December 4 and 10, schools around the world joined the Hour of Code movement as part of Computer Science Education Week (CSEd. Week).
Eighth-grade students in the class of Mrs. Miruka Williams completed the Hour of Code, building and sharing their own apps in App Lab using features like buttons, text, images, sound, and screens.
Wow! Talk about our students being cutting edge!


STLP SUBMISSIONS
WE ARE SO PROUD AND EXCITED to wish these Wildcats much success as they submit their projects for STLP. Kudos to these talented students (and a few others who aren't pictured) for trying new things! Where others see challenges, we see excitement and innovation!


2024 ANNUAL DOOR DECORATING TOURNAMENT
Congratulations to Ms. Alex Young and her students! They captured the win in our annual door decorating tournament and will be treated to a pizza party! Thank you to everyone who participated and to everyone who voted! Merry Christmas!

Mrs. Brumfield shares that Brianna is Wildcat of the Week because she makes assignments and learning goals a priority. She listens and thoughtfully completes her work and is helpful to other students when they need help. Way to be a leader, Brianna!


COLLEAGUE CREDIT
Last week, as a student was boarding the bus, he realized he couldn't find his coat. It was a very cold day. He told Mrs. Amy, and, being the hero she is, she took off her sweater and gave it to that student to wear home. Thank you, Mrs. Amy!
