COLLEAGUE CREDIT Mr. Doran shares that Melissa Bowling never ceases to amaze him with her heart for students. Always giving and always looking out for "the least of these," she continually strives to make sure each child in the building feels special, feels wanted, and feels like he or she belongs at Wurtland Middle School. Sometimes, it feels like she goes above and beyond what most of us would already consider "above and beyond". She is an asset to our building, for sure.

WILDCAT OF THE WEEK Mrs. Hieneman shares that Payton was recently a major help during a bus evacuation. Instead of exiting the bus immediately, she was quick to jump in and help take care of younger students who were also on the bus. Mrs. Hieneman shares that she received a phone call from the school counselor of Argillite Elementary, Mrs. Tice. Mrs. Tice shared how Payton made students feel safe, comforted, and helped them to get off the bus - before even thinking about helping herself. We are so proud of her and appreciate her heart for helping others! Thank you, Payton, for your heroic actions! You represent the characteristics of a Wurtland Middle School Wildcat!
